Funding

Admission is competitive and decided on excellence.  Academic excellence and research potential is assessed through the application and an interview, which must include three senior members of the university. All students must also meet the minimum requirements in terms of degree classification, English language and ability to pay fees. Several sources of funding exist to help to pay for fees and stipends:

·         Alison Brading Studentship in Pharmacology

·         D.Phil. in Cardiovascular Science for October 2012 intake.

In addition, the Department now awards a Blaschko Visiting Research Scholarship. This was endowed by Mrs Mary Blaschko in recognition of the contribution of her husband, Dr Hugh Blaschko, to the advancement of science throughout the world and the development of the Department
