Deciphering the role of TPCs in neuropeptide secretion
Biography
I obtained my PhD in 2021 from Paris Saclay University in France. During my years as a PhD student, I discovered that the TPCs (Two-Pore Channels) were involved in the secretion of the neurohormone oxytocin. A deletion of TPCs in mice result in very low oxytocin plasma levels along with altered social behaviour.
In 2021 I obtain a fellowship from the New College and I am now studying the signalling pathway of TPCs in neuropeptide release and deciphering the mechanisms underlying TPC involvement in oxytocin secretion.
