Jimmy Martin
Finance Manager
Working closely with the Head of Administration and Finance, I am responsible for the general oversight of finance and grants within the Department and am head of the finance team.
I am responsible for:
All aspects of the financial management of the department;
All aspects of grant management, both pre and post award;
I have a Bachelor of Accounting Science from Unisa – South Africa, and served my articles with Coopers & Lybrand in Zimbabwe. I have been with the University formally since 2006.
The Finance Team
Jimmy leads the finance team which includes Emma Stockford, Lauren Dumbleton and Ashley Morris in the Finance team.
Reporting to Heidi Crook, Head of Administration and Finance, Jimmy also works closely with Lukas Hofer, Deputy Administrator (Buildings and Safey) and Carolyn Thackrah, Deputy Administrator (Personnel) to deliver professional, effective and efficient administrative services.
