Graduate study at Oxford is a rewarding experience, but also a significant investment. We seek applications from students of the very highest calibre, irrespective of background or personal circumstances.

Costs of studying for a DPhil at Oxford include tuition fees, college fees and living expenses. You can find an online tool on the University website which will give you a clearer idea of costs depending on your preferred area of study and on your circumstances.

Admission is competitive and decided on excellence.  Academic excellence and research potential is assessed through the application and an interview, which must include three senior members of the university. All students must also meet the minimum requirements in terms of degree classification, English language and ability to pay fees.

Full details of funding options, scholarships and loans can be found on the main University of Oxford Graduate Studies pages.
