My PhD Project involves studying pathways regulating sleep and circadian rhythms and how they affect physiology and pathophysiology of neuronal and physical disorders like Alzheimer's Disease. Towards this my work will involve studying sleep wake behaviour of animals in a regulated light dark environment and administering agents to modify these parameters of sleep and circadian rhythms in order to explore the physiological outcomes.
